According to Aristotle, "Man is a social animal". To survive food is the first basic need. And to have it one should be employed. Now this is the lockdown period. And around 20% of factories and industries have shut down in India due to COVID-19. As a result, more than 50% of employees got affected.
If they obey the lockdown they will not get the food, and if they go against the law, they might be victims of corona. Here the question arises what should they do? How can one survive without having food? If he/she choose one between employment and health, what would be its consequence?
Both health and food/employment is necessary for a man. Both are complementary to each other. But if there is no employment there will be no food. He/she can't feed his/her family as well.
Nowadays being an employee is a very big deal. Because unemployment is emerging silently as a form of a pandemic. What if this lockdown ends up and you don't have any job in your hand as having a better skill? So if we fight with corona with our levels of immunity power we can win against it. Our medical science is growing day by day. We have the vaccine soon. But if our profession has detached from us, it might be more dangerous. Because the problem of unemployment will be at a high rate.
This doesn't mean we should break the rules and regulations. The government has set certain policies to control the virus. What we have to do is do our jobs without violating the laws that has been sat by the government.
