Fact v/s Roast: Analysis Between Dhruv Rathee and Carry Minati and It's Impact On Youth


This is the era of social media. Nowadays YouTube is going great. In the discussion of this medium two names have come to our mind who are very much admirable in their fields, are Dhruv Rathee and Carry Minati. 

  If we talk about Dhruv Rather there are 240 videos with 3.93M subscribers of his channel. His voice expressed the topics like economy, education, health, boycott of China products, JNU incidents, politics and so on. He has interested on making films or videos. Officially he started doing his videos on YouTube since 2016. Within few minutes explaining the current issues that prevails in surrounding by using simple method is the purpose of Dhruv's video. He also talk about issues which are trying to hidden by the media. He also explores the things that has to be expressed. He does the deepest research about his subjects. Rathee's videos presents both sides of the issue. He claimed that his sources are very much reliable. In every video he made his viewers to learn something new. In totality Dhruv has created a positive impact with valuable information, especially on youth. There are many more things to learn from Dhruv Rather's videos.

  We have another YouTuber Carry Minati.   This Indian you tuber's real name is Ajey Nagar. He is known for his comedic skits and reactions to various online topics on his channel CarryMinati. He has 23.2M subscribers with 170 videos. 

  Ajey Nagar is known for his distinctive and energetic Hindi-language commentary. He is mainly involved in creating diss songs, satirical parodies and comedy, apart from live gaming.

  Nagar started posting videos on YouTube since he was 10 years old. Initially, he posted videos where he performed mimicry of Sunny Deol and played video games. CarryMinati is his original YouTube channel, which has been active since 2014.In 2014, the channel's name was AddictedA1 and Nagar used to upload recorded video game footage along with his reactions on the game. The channel was not very successful. In 2015, the Channel's name became CarryDeol, on which Nagar uploaded footage of playing Counter Strike while mimicking Sunny Deol. Subsequently, he changed the name of the channel to CarryMinati when he started 'roasting people'.In early 2017, Nagar started another YouTube channel called CarryIsLive, where he live-streams himself playing video games.

  On YouTube he was already famous but with recent YouTube vs. TikTok videos he is trending on other social platforms . He has also gained more followers due to this roast battle between YouTube and TikTok.

  This roast battle started by Elvish Yadav, a YouTuber and then Amir Siddqui took this personally and roasted all YouTubers. Carry created a video to roast Amir Siddqui and this video got viral.

  This video was taken down by YouTube for violating it's policy on harassment and cyber bullying and this made more support for him.

  If we brought these two popular YouTubers in one frame then it will be quite interesting. One is spreading the real fact that should be come to the limelight. Another is roasting the stupidious things. But what impacting on youth I.e. more serious. One is positive and another is somehow not. They both are young. So it is important to know what is our young generation is acquiring from them and how serious about their subject. And ethically what they people have choosing is important the most.
