From BPO To Films, The Story Of Partha Sarathi Ray


Partha Sarathi Ray, A known name in TV and Odia cine industry. He started his career from Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) sector in Delhi. Then he had joined a three months acting course provided by Barry John. He got A grade from there and had been selected in John's professional theater group. He had worked with some prominent persons. Due to some illness, he had to return to Bhubaneswar. After the physical recovery, he started his journey back. He had moved to Mumbai. He got some work there like ad films etc but he was not satisfied with the characters he was offered in films. So he came back to Odisha again and joined a business with his brother-in-law. 

In Odia cinema, he got the first break in 'Nai Separi Kanaka Gori' and then 'Gadbad'. After some gap, he again came back to the track. In 2016 he had shown his talent in the film 'Hello Arshi'. 

Partha then got so many opportunities back to back. He got the lead character in a TV serial named 'Mu Bi Ardhangini' on Zee Sarthak. It runs very nicely. After living the serial he got another movie I.e. 'Tu Mo Love story' for a negative character. He has done some short films, feature films, and music videos also. Due to the pandemic, his works are pending now. 

Partha said 'Hello Arshi' is a very beautiful experience for him. The content of the movie was very much attracted to him, which is very uneasy to express that memory. The crew was limited but the environment and the experience was awesome. He was very much comfortable with his co-actress Prakruti Mishra. For him, Odia film is not that much appreciated by Odia people, and expecting love from others is a very tough thing. Hence this film had received 3 National Awards. Partha himself is a State Award-winning actor. According to him if your talent makes your State proud, it's a great achievement.

Partha believes in originality. For him, to win the heart of the audience first of all an actor has to give his 100 percent effort to it with your version of originality and creativity

 He also believes in versatility. Partha wanted to make his audience believe that he can do any character with impeccability. He is very optimistic towards his future.
