Bollywood is the factory of new talents. But these talents couldn't came to the limelight because of some front line actors and directors.
Nowadays Bollywood is very much active in the series of Nepotism. As a result some deserving actors can't be favorite in the wish list of the audience.
In Hindi cine industry name brand matters a lot. Some actors/directors work a lot to build that name. But their name doesn't allow any other actors to beat. For example, if a film of Raj Kumar Rao releases on the date of releasing a Salman Khan's movie; the Lion share of audience will go for Salman's film. Because it has a name value of Salman Khan. Khan's film may have a good content or may not be that doesn't matter. Whatever the film has a story, it must earn above Rs.150cr. Another actor may have a strong content with fine acting may earn less amount.
On the other hand directors or actors who lunched newcomers to the film industry may have not talent but must have a high fan following due to a Godfather or they are launched by a big star or a reputed director. There are many more who have encouraged the theory of favoritism. Alia Bhatt, Ananya Pandey, Varun Dhawan, Siddharth Malhotra, Suraj Pancholi, Tiger Shroff etc. are the role models of this theory. As a result film actors like Sushant Singh Rajput, Vicky Kaushal, Ayushman Khurana, Raj Kumar Rao etc. couldn't get the chance as they deserve.
This is the digital era in which web series is liked by viewers. If one notices can be assumed that web series are made of no big stars. All the casts have done small roles in movies or serials. Here looks doesn't matter. Only one thing matters I.e. acting. That's why these star kids are seemed very rare on web series.
If we compare Tiger Shroff with Bidyut Jammwal, there will be far difference between them on the basis of acting. Both of them are known for martial arts. Bidyut is best known for his action films like commando series. Tiger Shroff also popular for his martial arts style. As we compare to Commando2 with Baaghi3, the last one had earned Rs.135.08 cr as a worldwide gross collection and became the second highest grossing Bollywood film of 2020. On the other hand Commando2 has earned only Rs.39.04 cr. Here we can see the how things are going in Bollywood.
Recently few days ago Sushant Singh Rajput was badly captured by nepotism. And he lost his life. Before his death, a small part of population had appreciated his work. Now when he died his last film Dil Bechara has recorded as the world's highest rated film on IMDB.
If this theory of favoritism or what we called nepotism didn't stop what will be the future of Indian cinema, is the question for every young talent.
